Biography
King of Georgia from 1360 to 1393, his reign was disrupted by the catastrophic invasions of Timur (Tamerlane), who repeatedly devastated Georgia. He was briefly captured by Timur in 1386 and forced to convert to Islam, though he renounced this upon release. His reign began Georgia's decline.
