David VI Narin

King of Georgia from 1245 and later King of Imereti (western Georgia) from 1259 to 1293, son of Queen Rusudan. After failing to overthrow Mongol rule, he established the breakaway western Georgian kingdom of Imereti. He is the founder of the Imeretian Bagrationi line.
