Biography
King of Georgia from 1247 to 1270, illegitimate son of George IV Lasha and co-ruler with his cousin David VI Narin under Mongol overlordship. The Mongols deliberately divided Georgia between the two cousins to weaken it. He led an unsuccessful revolt against Mongol rule in 1259-1260.
