George III of Georgia

King of Georgia from 1156 to 1184, having succeeded his elder brother David V. Lacking a male heir, he crowned his daughter Tamar as co-ruler in 1178, an unprecedented act that secured the dynasty's continuation. He suppressed his nephew Demna's rebellion and continued Georgian expansion.
