Biography
Georgian prince, geographer, historian, and cartographer, illegitimate son of Vakhtang VI. His monumental work 'Description of the Kingdom of Georgia' is the foundational text of modern Georgian geography and history. He led intellectual life in the Georgian colony in Moscow.
