Alanian princess and queen consort of Bagrat IV of Georgia, she was a powerful political figure who advanced the interests of the Alan-Georgian alliance. Mother of George II and of Martha (Maria of Alania), Byzantine empress. She is remembered for her piety and her patronage of monasteries.
